It has always been popular among diners from both inside and outside the district. The prices are super affordable, there's no service charge, and cold drinks don't cost extra. The restaurant has a simple and neat decor, with QR code ordering, payment first, then delivery. There's a self-service area for water, cutlery, and condiments, which is very convenient. The sizzling plate rice series includes soup and a drink, which is excellent value for money!

Har Do - Instagrammable Taiwanese Restaurant

The chicken nuggets were quite crispy. The sausage and minced pork rice set: The sausages weren't as sweet as in Taiwan, but still delicious and juicy. The plum sweet potato fries were tasty and appetizing, very Taiwanese, but the soy milk tea and black tea in the set weren't good. Especially the soy milk tea, it tasted like neither. The black tea was normal black tea, light, fragrant, and refreshing. The staff were very polite, and the painting on the wall was also very special and beautiful!

Chef's Cuisine - Popular All-You-Can-Eat Hotpot / Private Kitchen

Towards the end of the year, work has been very busy, and it's been a long time since I've eaten at Chef's Cuisine. I recently heard that Chef's Cuisine has opened a late-night session, from 9 PM to 2 AM, and it's incredibly affordable—only $188 per person for all-you-can-eat hotpot! I was hungry after working overtime tonight. I arrived at Chef's Cuisine at 12:30 AM, planning to have hotpot. To my surprise, there were only two tables of diners left who were about to settle their bills and leave, but the cashier girl still enthusiastically greeted us and arranged for us to sit down, served tea and water. This restaurant is not only affordable and delicious, but their service attitude is also highly commendable!

Green Island Spa & Massage - Popular Massage Parlor

After eating at Har Do, I saw a massage parlor across the street. The entrance was beautiful, so I went in to see if I could walk in for a massage. Luckily, the therapist warmly welcomed me and I managed to squeeze in a 45-minute session. I usually get Thai massages because as an introvert, I can rest quietly without communicating with the Thai therapist. However,this time I tried a Chinese massage, and it's the only massage parlor that has made me return.

Because I sit for long periods, my back pain has been bothering me, and many sessions of Chinese acupuncture and Western medication have been ineffective. The first massage I had was with Master Joan, whose knowledge of acupoints was beyond imagination. A few simple presses significantly relieved my back pain. Besides massaging the back, many acupoints in the thighs and calves are also related to back pain. The masseuse also focused on my fatigued areas. The 45-minute session was continuous without any wasted time, and the therapist also taught me simple exercises for back care and maintenance.

I really dislike being pressured to buy packages at large beauty salons, so I specifically look for beauty salons that offer single-session payments. This time, I had a Hydra Peel for only $4XX for a single session. It was a complete treatment, from cleansing and steaming to blackhead extraction, all done very carefully, and there was no hard selling during the process. It's a must-go for introverts! They definitely retain customers with their skill. Of course, small beauty salons don't have many high-tech machines, so they are more suitable for basic facial cleansing and regular maintenance, perfect for budget-conscious women!

The fish content is authentic and generous. The siu mai skin is soft, golden in color, and has a dense texture that melts in your mouth, leaving a memorable aftertaste.
