 Bubble Tree has been open in Kwun Tong for over ten years, and recently moved from a takeaway shop to a rare cafe on the second floor of an industrial building. It has always been popular with diners from both within and outside the district. The prices are super affordable, and there's no service charge, nor an extra charge for cold drinks. The restaurant's decor is simple and neat, with QR code ordering, prepayment, and then food delivery. There's a self-service area outside for tea, cutlery, and condiments, which is very convenient. The sizzling plate rice series includes soup and a drink, which is excellent value for money 👍🏻

Hado- Popular Taiwanese Restaurant

The chicken nuggets are quite crispy. Sausage and minced pork rice set: The sausage isn't as sweet as in Taiwan, but it's still delicious and juicy. Sweet potato fries with plum powder: Tasty and appetizing, very Taiwanese flavor, but the soy milk black tea and black tea in the set weren't good. Especially the soy milk black tea, neither flavor came through. The black tea was normal, light, fragrant, and refreshing. The staff were very polite~ And the oil painting on the wall is also very unique and beautiful!

Green Island Spa & Massage - Popular Massage Parlor

After eating at Hado, I saw a massage parlor opposite. The entrance looked nice, so I went in to see if I could walk in for a massage. Luckily, the therapist was very welcoming and I managed to get a 45-minute slot. I usually go for Thai massages because as an introverted person, I prefer to rest quietly without communicating with the Thai therapist. However, this Chinese massage experience was the only one that made me want to return.

Having suffered from chronic back pain due to prolonged sitting, numerous traditional Chinese acupuncture treatments and Western medication had no effect. My first massage was with Master Joan, whose knowledge of acupoints was beyond imagination. Just a few presses greatly relieved my back pain. Besides the back, it turns out many acupoints on the thighs and calves are also closely related to back pain. The masseuse also focused more time on my fatigued areas. The 45 minutes were fully utilized without any breaks or wasted time, and the master also taught me simple exercises for back care and maintenance.

I hate being pressured into sales at large beauty salons, so I specifically look for beauty salons with one-off payment options. This time, I had a Hydra Peel, and it only cost $4XX for a single session. They absolutely provided a full service, from cleansing and steaming to blackhead extraction, all done very meticulously. Plus, there was no sales pitch during the process, making it a must-visit for introverted people! They definitely retain customers through their excellent techniques. However, of course, small beauty salons don't have many equipment options, so they are more suitable for basic facial cleansing and regular maintenance, perfect for those on a budget!

"Sam Sap Store" is famous for its siu mai, especially the signature fish siu mai, made with threadfin bream and red snapper, enhanced with ingredients like shallots and garlic for a fresh and savory taste. The fish content is authentic and generous. The siu mai skin is soft and tender, golden in color, with a delicate and melt-in-your-mouth texture, leaving a memorable aftertaste.
